Medan – Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has once again achieved a proud milestone through the accomplishments of Prof. Dr. Apri Heri Iswanto, S.Hut., M.Si., Secretary of the Directorate of Innovation, Sustainable Development, and Science and Technology Parks (IPBKST) at USU and a lecturer in the USU Faculty of Forestry, who has been included in the list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists for the 2025–2026 period.

This achievement serves as recognition of his contributions and dedication to the advancement of science through research and scientific publications that have contributed to the progress of science on a global scale.

This achievement also reflects the commitment of the USU academic community to improving the quality of research, expanding scientific contributions, and strengthening the university’s competitiveness at the international level.
