The production of these profile videos aims to showcase the strengths, benefits, and development potential of these two innovative products through informative and engaging visual media. With this documentation, it is hoped that the innovative products resulting from research by the USU academic community will gain wider recognition, while also increasing opportunities for downstream development, commercialization, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

The collaboration between the IPBKST Directorate and the USU Public Relations Office reflects the University of North Sumatra’s commitment to promoting its innovation achievements and building the institution’s image as a university focused on the development of science, technology, and innovation that provide tangible benefits to society.

Through effective dissemination of information, USU’s innovative products are expected to enhance competitiveness, expand partnership networks, and foster sustainable and economically valuable innovation.

This initiative also supports the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) through the strengthening of the innovation ecosystem and the dissemination of research findings, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration between the Directorate of IPBKST and USU’s Public Relations Office in expanding the reach of innovation publications, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by promoting the commercialization of innovative products that have the potential to increase economic value added and the nation’s competitiveness.
