Aloe Daikon is a research-based innovation developed to create a product that supports improved public health through the use of natural ingredients and advancements in biomedical science. This innovation serves as tangible evidence of the commitment of Universitas Sumatera Utara academics to promoting the commercialization of research outcomes so they can provide direct benefits to the broader community.
Through the Innovation Video program, the USU IPBKST Directorate aims to introduce the public to various innovative works by faculty members and researchers, while strengthening the innovation and collaboration ecosystem toward sustainable development. It is hoped that Aloe Daikon will serve as an inspiration for the development of innovative health products that possess scientific value, social benefits, and commercialization potential.
This innovation is also aligned with the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically:
